A: There are some general guidelines on the roll-off dumpster and front-end dumpster pages. If you aren’t sure about the size you need for your project, call us and we’ll tell you what size is best – that’s what we do.

A: Yes, there are! Trash Gurl cannot accept toxic and hazardous materials in its dumpsters, including: paint, oil, gasoline, propane, tires, batteries, hazardous waste, dead animals, toxic materials, bio-hazard materials, asbestos, and Freon. If you do need to dispose of these materials, call us and we’ll help you make arrangements.

A: Trash Gurl is committed to helping everyone with all their waste removal needs. Call us and we’ll tell you your options.

A: Yes. Load the dumpster as evenly as possible and do not overload it. Nothing should be above the top line of the dumpster and nothing should be hanging over the edge when it’s time for pick-up. Additional charges apply for driver delay and container dig-out if overloaded.

It’s also smart not to mix heavy materials with other materials. For example, if your project requires the removal of concrete or soil, both of which are heavy materials, it’s better to keep those materials separated, as it makes disposal easier. Call if you have any questions about what can be mixed and what should be separated.

A: You can keep the dumpster as long as you need to. The rental fee will depend on the initial rental period agreed upon. If you need to keep the dumpster longer, you’ll be charged according to the terms of your contract.

A: No, you do not need to be present for dumpster delivery, as long as you’ve provided specific instructions. We need to know exactly where to place the dumpster. If you can’t provide detailed instructions or you’re concerned about placement, we suggest you be present for drop-off.

A: No. Please make sure it’s accessible and that you have loaded the dumpster evenly and have not exceed the tonnage limit.

A: Yes, it’s possible for dumpsters to cause damage to property. Dumpsters are heavy and when
fully loaded to capacity, which can be up to 15 tons (that’s 30,000 pounds), they are even heavier. This can cause cracked driveways and pavement or damage the lawn. That’s why it’s important to be specific on dumpster location drop-off.
